Description

AE8810 TECHNOMATE HDMI 4K DVB-T IR RF Modulator

The world's first 4K HDMI modulator with 9V IR !

The TM-RF HD IR 4K can accept an HDMI signal up to 4K60 4:4:4 HDR, HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 and it will pass this same 4K signal on the HDMI loopout so that you have the original 4K video/audio signal on the HDMI output (for example, when connecting to a 4K TV).

The modulator will then downscale the 4K resolution to 1080p only on the RF output for your coaxial cable system*.

With current 1080p HDMI modulators, if you are using a source device that supports 4K (such as SkyQ, CCTV DVR/NVR, etc), the modulator cannot support a 4K HDMI input, therefore you have to reduce your source device's HDMI resolution to 1080p or you have to buy a separate down-scaler device. The all-in-one TM-RF HD IR 4K will accept a 4K HDMI input and has a down-scaler built-in.

In an example install scenario, you may have a mixture of 4K and 1080p TVs. For your 4K TV, you want to watch in 4K so you can connect the HDMI loopout of the modulator to this TV and the other TVs you can use the RF output of the modulator and connect this to an aerial amplifier (sold separately) so that you can watch the 1080p RF on multiple TVs*.
